The Carolinas-Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council (CVMSDC) Scholarship Swing Golf Tournament is an annual charity and premier networking experience designed to connect small businesses and corporate partners in a fun, competitive, and relationship-driven environment. Sponsored by Ally, the goal is to raise funds for scholarships that support the growth, expansion, and leadership development of small business owners and leaders.
Golfers will play at Devil’s Ridge Golf Course, with a 9:00 AM shotgun start / first tee time, plus time beforehand to warm up on the range and putting green.
To support the core purpose of the tournament, which is meaningful networking, golfers will register individually (rather than registering as pre-made foursomes). After registration closes, participants will be matched into groups to encourage a strong mix of attendees and new connections across the course. Pairings will also take into account basic play-level details (such as handicap, if entered) to help create balanced flights while keeping the day approachable and enjoyable for all skill levels.
Golfers are welcome to arrive as early as 7:00 AM to check in, warm up, and enjoy light breakfast options before the tournament begins.
