DESCRIPTION:Career Day connects organizations with students seeking internships and full-time roles in digital\, print and broadcast journalism\, entertainment\, film\, production\, media sales\, advertising and public relations. \nYou will have the opportunity to connect with Grady College students\, and students in additional communications majors at the University of Georgia. In past years\, the in-person Career Day event has drawn 350-500 students. \nGrady College offers students the following undergraduate areas of study: Advertising\, Entertainment and Media Studies\, Journalism and Public Relations majors; New Media Certificate\, Public Affairs Professional Certificate\, Sports Media Certificate\, Strategic Health and Risk Communication Certificate and Certificate in News Literacy. \nCareer Day 2023 will feature a career fair in the Tate Student Center from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. EST\, followed by an afternoon mixer in the Journalism Building from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. EST with Grady College students\, faculty and staff. \nWe will also host one career-focused\, online panel leading up to the event\, featuring Platinum\, Gold and Silver sponsors as panelists. It will be open to all communications students to attend online individually\, and will be screened in the Journalism Building with an in-person audience. Grady College classes held during the time selected will also be invited to join. DESCRIPTION:The University of Georgia is pleased to have your firm participate in our 46th annual Risk Management and Insurance Careers Day in Spring 2023 at The Classic Center in Athens\, GA. This event provides opportunities for employers to meet and interview many highly qualified students seeking employment within the insurance\, risk management\, actuarial science\, and employee benefits communities. \nOur Spring 2022 RMI Careers Day had over 50 employers and more than 200 RMI students in attendance. Employers were able to speak to students directly and fill full-time and internship roles. We are looking forward to our Spring 2023 RMI Careers Day that has over 80 companies registered. DESCRIPTION:Join the CVMSDC Power-Hour for an engaging conversation about opportunities with Greg Laskey and the Purchasing Team of Toyota. \nGreg Laskey is a vice president of purchasing supplier development at Toyota Motor North America\, Inc. (TMNA)\, located in Saline\, Michigan. TMNA supports Toyota’s engineering and manufacturing operations in North America. Prior to his current position\, Mr. Laskey held executive management roles that included overseeing supplier engineering development\, as well as materials and indirect purchasing and the procurement of electrical components\, electronics\, and body stampings for Toyota in North America. He has also held several positions within the purchasing division\, including management roles in project management\, electrical\, and electronics.
