Who is speaking?
Our guest speaker is Rep. Lauren Underwood, Congresswoman for the 14th District of Illinois. She is a registered nurse and co-founder and co-chair of the Black Maternal Health Caucus. She also co-chairs the House Democratic Policy and Communications Committee and serves on the House Committee on Appropriations. Rep. Underwood is the first woman, first person of color, and first millennial to represent her community in Congress.
